The selected site in Kocaeli, Türkiye is endangered with loss of its identity and character, as a consequence of the profit oriented urban transformations. The proposal intents to regain a sense of belonging by eliminating the problems of social segregation, earthquake risk, and multi-storeyed apartments surrounding the site. The solution was proposed with two focal points of social nodes within the site that would revitalize the neighbourhood with their reciprocal attractions.
