I propose an assembly system where pre-fabricated bamboo columns pose as shelving systems for partition walls (also bamboo) to be inserted. Each pair of columns will support two wings of roof pitches, and form rain collecting valleys. Each pair of this assembly will join to form a housing unit enclosed by the bamboo partition walls. A collection of these units link up to form lanes of rain harvesting communities. As they propagate, staggered formation allow the roofs (like umbrellas) to cover grounds completely, sheltering the community from rain and monsoon seasons, while maintaining ventilation and sunlight in alleyways.
