The idea which inspired our team was to create the cheapest possible solution to ensure not only the people of decent housing but also the opportunity to work and, consequently, the ability to maintain the house because it is not the point to give the poor a fish but a fishing rod that he could later go fishing. During the design process we pay attention to the fact that our solution was as simple as possible, the cheapest but also interesting, esthetic and fit within the cultural context of Kibera.
